| Synopsis:
Director Ron Ford takes us back to a bygone age of storytelling
with his adaptation of three short stories by H.G. Wells, Mary
Shelley and Rudyard Kipling. Crystal Gazing sets the
theme for Dead Time Tales. Each of the stories starts
with a customer buying an item from the sophisticated but hen-pecked
antique dealer Winston Kale (Greg
Cannone)
then follows that customer on a separate but intertwined tale.
Throughout the progress of the tales, Winston becomes increasingly
obsessed with a crystal in which he can see an alien world and
itÕs cannibalistic creatures. Cold Feet features
Veronica Carothers in a stunning triple role as a whip toting
dominatrix who becomes the obsession of Eric (Michael Labarbera)
after he buys an antique postcard bearing her picture from the
antique store. Obsession turns to waking nightmare as we take
a dark journey into the forbidden realms of the human libido
in this horrific adaptation of Mary ShelleyÕs The Transformation.
In Bestiality, a gangster steals a cursed ring from a
mysterious tribal shaman, provoking him to call down he curse
of the werewolf upon him. The gangsterÕs thugs torture the shaman
to make him lift the curse, but the cure may be worse than the
curseÉ Dead Time Tales is a roller coaster ride of horror
from the pens of three of the greatest story tellers of all
time. |
